How Do I Update My SkyTrak App?Updated 2 years ago

To update your SkyTrak app and firmware on an iPad, please follow these steps:

1. On your iPad, go to the app store and download the latest version of the SkyTrak app.
2. Open the SkyTrak app and connect your SkyTrak in either direct or network mode.
3. Once connected, you will be prompted that the firmware is being updated. 
4. During the firmware update, the SkyTrak will reboot. 
5. After the SkyTrak restarts, the firmware update message will automatically close.
6. If the SkyTrak does not automatically reconnect, double tap the iPad home button and swipe up on the SkyTrak app to close it. 
7. Go to the wifi section of your iPad settings and ensure you are still connected to the SkyTrak in either direct or network mode.
8. Open the SkyTrak app and wait for the SkyTrak to reconnect.  You can check that your SkyTrak is updated with the latest 1.5 firmware from the About section of the profile menu.

1. On your PC, download the latest version of the SkyTrak app

2. Open the SkyTrak app and connect your SkyTrak in either direct or network mode.
3. Once connected, you will be prompted that the firmware is being updated.
4. During the firmware update, the SkyTrak will reboot. 
5. After the SkyTrak restarts, the firmware update message will automatically close.
6. If the SkyTrak does not automatically reconnect, close the SkyTrak app.
7. Ensure you are still connected to the SkyTrak in either direct or network mode.
8. Open the SkyTrak app and wait for the SkyTrak to reconnect. You can check that your SkyTrak is updated with the latest 1.5 firmware from the About section of the profile menu.
